Landing Fees

Fees paid to an airport proprietor for landing at a particular airport. Landing fees can vary greatly between airports. The money generated by landing fees is used to pay for the maintenance or expansion of the airport's buildings, runways, aprons and taxiways. Landing fees may encompass additional airport-provided services. Some airports will simply charge a single fee for landing and provide gates and check-in facilities as part of that fee. Other airports will charge a lower fee for landing but will charge airlines for the use of gates and check-in facilities. There are typically no landing fees in the Marquis Jet Card program.

Positioning Fees (aka ferry fees)

Fees that are customarily charged to position or reposition the aircraft for flights. A positioning fee may be required to get the aircraft to your desired departure point. There are no Positioning fees in the Marquis Jet Card program for flights operated by NetJets within the Collective Service Area; and, with the NetJets Ferry Waiver Program for Marquis Jet Card Owners there are also no Positioning Fees to many of the most popular destinations around the globe.

Deadhead Fees

Typically associated with charter, Deadhead Fees apply to flights when the aircraft is empty either on the way to pick up passengers for a flight or on the way back after dropping passengers off. There are no Deadhead Fees for the flights operated by NetJets in the Marquis Jet Card program.
