For Marquis Jet and NetJets, delivering the ultimate jet service day-in and day-out is the culmination of many factors you see – like new planes and professional pilots - and many that remain behind-the-scenes, such as the unrivaled NetJets Flight Centers. NetJets Flight Centers, located in Columbus, Ohio and Lisbon, Portugal, schedule over 390,000 flights annually to more than 173 countries worldwide, utilizing NetJets proprietary IntelliJet® system, the most advanced integrated flight management scheduling system in the industry. NetJets flight management teams ensure your safety and comfort on every flight. NetJets Flight Centers consist of the following departments: Flight Dispatchers: NetJets has a team of FAA-licensed and FlightSafety trained dispatchers on staff 24x7. They are responsible for day-of-flight quality control. A NetJets flight cannot take off unless the NetJets qualified pilot-in-command and the Dispatch Manager individually verify all flight plan information and computations. This dual-release requirement allows two independent authorities to jointly agree that the flight can be accomplished without compromising safety. Staff Meteorologists: NetJets has a staff of full-time, FAA-approved meteorologists that monitor air traffic and weather conditions in real time. Using state-of-the-art equipment to obtain and interpret data, NetJets meteorologists give NetJets pilots and dispatchers up-to-the-minute weather forecasts. Chief Pilots: These Chief Pilots are NetJets resident experts on each aircraft type, and are responsible for managing the day-to-day flight operations. They evaluate each flight prior to departure for such factors as weather, fuel requirements, FAA notices, and runway conditions. Operational Intelligence and Analysis: These "intelligence gathering" professionals monitor conditions at your airport destination to make sure NetJets rigorous requirements for a safe flight are met. This department researches, inspects, and analyzes potentially problematic airport conditions before flights are cleared to land. All Marquis Jet Card Owners and prospects are invited to visit the NetJets Flight Center in Columbus, Ohio to see the difference first-hand.
