Marquis Jet Partners, Inc., the global leader in hourly private jet cards, starting at increments of 25-hours, experienced extremely strong performance in all facets of its business in the first quarter of 2003; including revenue, new owner growth, owner retention and flight activity. In the first quarter of 2003, Marquis Jet continued to build upon the substantial growth it experienced in 2002. For the quarter ended March 31st, comparable quarterly revenues increased by more than 350 and flight activity increased by more than 320 over the same period the preceding year. Most significantly, Marquis Jet continued to acquire new owners at an ever increasing rate in both the US and Europe, and owner retention was extremely strong with nearly 100 of those who had purchased a Marquis Jet Card renewing or migrating to NetJets, the pioneer and worldwide leader in fractional aircraft ownership, depending upon their annual flight requirements. Since the first quarter of 2002, Marquis Jet has seen a significant rise in the number of new owners transferring from regional charter services, block charter"jet membership"programs or fractional providers other than NetJets, but the Company’s primary source of new owners continues to be commercial travelers becoming first-time private aviation users. Based upon the results achieved in the first quarter of 2003, Marquis Jet expects to continue to experience significant new owner acquisition, revenue and flight activity growth for the remainder of this fiscal year.
