Marquis Jet Card Owners will receive a dedicated Mayo Clinic telephone number printed on the back of their Mayo Clinic Executive Travel Response wallet card. This telephone number provides access to free telephone consultations with Mayo Clinic medical professionals for immediate, detailed assistance to determine when and where to seek medical attention worldwide. Mayo Clinic nurses and doctors provide self care recommendations, arrange emergency medical transport, and help coordinate medical care appointments 24 hours a day, 365 days a year no matter where you may be in the world.

Emergency Coordination – In emergency situations, “Ask Mayo Clinic” may coordinate with local hospitals, doctors and other emergency services to ensure that Owners receive necessary medical care.

On-Board Equipment and Crew Training – All NetJets aircraft are stocked with Mayo Clinic-designed medical kits that include basic medical supplies such as bandages, gauze, and aspirin as well as emergency oxygen and an automatic external defibrillator. Each kit also contains a descriptive manual to assist in administering first-aid. All NetJets crewmembers are required to complete initial, as well as annual recurrent comprehensive training on the use of this equipment.

In-Flight Medical Advice and Diversion Recommendations – In a medical emergency, unless action by the flight crew is necessary, Mayo Clinic will be contacted immediately. A dedicated number connects NetJets flight crews with Mayo Clinic emergency medical specialists who are available 24 hours a day/365 days a year to provide comprehensive information regarding treatment. Mayo Clinic critical care nurses and physicians provide medical oversight and make diversion recommendations if they determine it is essential to treat the patient on the ground. The final decision on where to divert the aircraft is made by the flight crew and the Marquis Jet Card Owner. Mayo Clinic may also help to coordinate arrangements for immediate emergency medical assistance that can even meet the plane when it lands.

Access to Mayo Clinic for Personal Exams – Marquis Jet Card Owners can get assistance in scheduling annual personal exams with Mayo Clinic by calling the dedicated “Ask Mayo Clinic” telephone number (Owners are responsible for all costs associated with examinations and actual care received at Mayo Clinic).

An Ambulance in the Sky – For an additional cost, Mayo Clinic will arrange for medical transportation and evacuation services on a custom aircraft (not a NetJets aircraft) that is fully equipped with all medical emergency equipment and emergency medical personnel. It is virtually an ambulance/emergency room in the sky and is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
